Ready to Train for Transpyr?
Transpyr isn’t just another race.
It’s a coast-to-coast reckoning — a seven-day test of how well you’ve prepared, how deeply you can recover, and how much strength you can summon when your body says it’s done. From the moment you clip in at the Mediterranean, you’ll ride into something bigger than yourself — a journey where every pass, every descent, and every dusty valley becomes part of your story.

This program was built for that. Not just to get you fit — but to get you ready for the rhythm of stage racing, and the raw challenge of crossing a mountain range on two wheels.
ANC Basecamp, in partnership with the Endurance Alliance, offers a race-specific training path — grounded in science, trusted by pros, and adaptable to your season and schedule.
How It Works
1. Choose your tier:
- Self-Guided — structured workouts, TrainingPeaks sync, and access to our full base training environment.
- Coach-Supported — everything above plus assigned coach touchpoints, adjustments, and direct support.
You’ll receive either:
- Your first 4 weeks of a Transpyr-specific build (customized to you), or
- A structured base/maintenance environment tailored to your profile
- The FULL Plan is 23 weeks to really build a strong athlete
- You can start training now to build into the 3 weeks. You and our team will get you on the right path, right away to start your training.
After the trial:
- All race plans
- Plan switching
- Full-year seasonal progressions
2. Your Plan Evolves With You
Your training progresses through:
- Base/Maintenance — aerobic strength and recovery
- Build — threshold, climbing, back-to-back rides
- Race Prep — pacing, simulation, fueling
- Taper — sharpen and arrive fresh
Synced via TrainingPeaks to Garmin, Zwift, Wahoo, Apple Watch, and more.
3. Ride with Purpose
Long weekend rides • Climbing/tempo intervals midweek • Strategic recovery weeks • Fueling and pacing included
Train by: Heart Rate • Power • RPE
Optional zone testing every 6–8 weeks
4. Optional Coach Support
Assigned coach • Weekly check-ins • Plan adjustments every 6–8 weeks • Race-week strategy and fueling guidance
5. Taper to Fresh
Volume reduces, intensity sharpens, confidence builds — with guidance for stage pacing, travel/recovery, fueling, hydration, and mindset.
6. Race Week & Beyond
Stage-by-stage pacing and recovery, optional coach support, and a post-race rebuild or transition path.
